The planning team and I would like to thank you for taking the time to participate at our 7th Annual SES Staff Development Day held on November 3, 2011 in East Hartford, CT and for helping to make the program a success. Your "Laugh for No Reason” presentation was enjoyed by the staff as your interactive format held their attention and gave them a “workout” as they participated in your laughter exercises. I have heard that some staff have taken your message to heart and begin their day with their “ho, ho, ho … ha, ha, ha’s.” You are an excellent presenter and your passion for the work that you do was very evident during your presentation. It was a privilege to have you participate in our program.
We asked the staff to complete evaluations at the end of the program and the feedback that we received about your presentation was very positive and you received high marks by the attendees.
Trevor, once again, thank you so much for your contribution to our program and for sharing your expertise with SES staff.
We wish you all the best in your future endeavors. It was indeed our pleasure to make your acquaintance.
Trevor Smith brought his very thoughtful curriculum in the form of the Collective Home Care and the response was remarkable. We have always known as a culture there is a real challenge in acknowledging the multiple stressors we all work under. And for many reasons health care providers in particular often carry around a lot of stress. We often forget to care for ourselves, as well as we take care of our patients. So, bringing Trevor Smith and his program “Laugh For No Reason.” was just the right prescription. Our nursing team and Home health Aides equally enjoyed the presentation, laughed a lot and found the cathartic benefits Trevor has designed in his curriculum. For anyone who is responsible for training, I would highly recommend Trevor and his program.
I can say whole heartedly that our laughter seminar with Trevor Smith was a unique, fun-filled bonding experience for our staff. Not only did we get to learn about the health benefits of laughter, but we also got to take time out of our busy schedules to simply enjoy one's company, and laugh like we hadn't in quite some time. I would highly recommend this seminar to anyone looking to create a lively afternoon in the workplace.
I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for the program you created for our department team day. It was exactly what we needed. The exercises were designed perfectly to relax folks and create a receptive mood. We wanted a day that would let people know how much the agency appreciates the work they do and remind them how valuable their hard work is. We also were hoping that the staff would get a chance to connect outside of work in a fun atmosphere and strengthen the personal connections they have with each other. With your help we definitely accomplished this.
I also want to mention how much I appreciated your willingness to work with me on customizing the program to our needs and what we were most comfortable with.
I will be sure to pass your name and the services that you provide onto others.
